The man suspected of killing famed sex and family therapist Dr. Amie Harwick was charged with her murder late Wednesday afternoon
Medical officials ruled the 38-year-old died of blunt-force injuries to her head and torso and there was also"evidence of manual strangulation."
Gareth Pursehouse is charged with with one count each of murder and first-degree residential burglary with the special circumstance allegation of lying in wait, making him eligible for the death penalty, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office.
