Astros do enough to slip past Rangers in 10 innings

The bottom four hitters in Texas’ order finished 0-for-7 against him. Only some suspect Astros defense could save them.
Peña’s gaffe put Javier in a predicament. It eroded his efficiency and almost ensured a short outing. The 25-pitch frame left him at 53 for the game. Javier survived only two more innings, a truncated appearance not aided by Peña’s error.
