Todd Interests and partners have been developing the 20-block area on downtown’s east side since 2018.
Now the developer is looking at a high-rise residential building that would be constructed on Main Street. The 47-story, $195 million residential tower would be built at 2222 Main St., according to planning documents filed with the state.
Dallas architect HKS designed the 800,000-square-foot building, which would open in 2025, the state filings show.The proposed residential tower would be the tallest building planned for downtown’s eastern edge.to build new office and residential towers. Along with the East Quarter redevelopment, Todd Interests and partners spent $460 million to redo downtown’s landmark First National Bank tower into a combination of retail and office space, apartments and a luxury hotel.
