The roll-out of Apple Silicon continues, with the stated goal of all new Macs switched to the ARM-based technology by the end of 2022 within reach. We’re looking at a new Mac Pro will arrive, alongside a new high-spec iMac desktop; we’ll also see updates to the MacBook Air, Mac Mini, and MacBook Pro:
"With the older Intel-based MacBooks and the wide variation in performance, there was a need for a mid-range MacBook that sat between the MacBook Air and the high-end MacBook Pro. Apple has, through the power of its own silicon, managed to negate that argument. "Apple is treading water with its most affordable iPad, and that’s a shame, but that doesn’t make it a bad tablet. Far from it. For the price, this is a very capable device that will prove pleasant to use and last for years. For basic needs like web browsing, playing casual games, email, video chats, and watching videos, this is a more than serviceable tablet. If you want an educational and entertainment device for your child, this is a great choice.
