Up next: the All-Star break.When Sunday's game ends, Diamondbacks players will go their separate ways for a few days for the All-Star break. The four All-Stars — Corbin Carroll, Lourdes Gurriel Jr., Zac Gallen and Geraldo Perdomo — will take a chartered flight up to Seattle to begin their Midsummer Classic experience.
The Diamondbacks on Saturday morning shared a touching video via social media of Perdomo getting the news he had been named to the team, then calling his mother to let her know. "Don't even show up on that day, just take as many days as you need. So we'll have Wednesday and Thursday hopefully to just rest and recover and get ready for a good second half," Lovullo said.
