Information was supplied by law enforcement and describes current, active reports of missing persons in the Phoenix-metro area and other cities in Arizona.

21-year-old Desiray Edmonds was reported missing by family to the Avondale Police Department on May 21. She was last seen during the afternoon on May 20 near Tres Rios Wetlands near El Mirage Road and Indian Springs Road in Avondale where she reportedly went camping alone.

Edmonds is an African American woman who is 5 feet 6 inches tall, 170 pounds with brown braided hair, brown eyes with tattoos on her face, arms and legs, police say."Officers have attempted to locate Ms. Edmonds utilizing drone support, utility task vehicles and ground search," police said on May 22.

Anyone with information about Edmonds' whereabouts is asked to call the Avondale Police Department at 623-333-7001. The Navajo Division of Public Safety says Maliyah Velasco's last known location was at Tuba City High School in Tuba City. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, white shirt, black pants, and white Crocs shoes. Velasco is 17-years-old, 150 pounds, 5 feet tall, with black hair and black eyes. Police say she has a mole on her lower lip and has nose and ear piercings.
