The Arizona softball team won the play-in game of the Pac-12 Tournament, rallying to defeat rival ASU 13-4 in five innings Wednesday night; the Wildcats will face No. 1 seed UCLA in the quarterfinals on Thursday.

PJ Brown Arizona looked to be in a deep hole after spotting ASU four runs on a grand slam in the first inning.

She got a lot of help from Carlie Scupin, who crushed two doubles to deep left-center field and added a single, driving in five runs, as Arizona came back to defeat ASU 13-4 in five innings in the play-in game of the inaugural Pac-12 Tournament at Hillenbrand Stadium Wednesday night. Allie Skaggs, earlier named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year, hit a grand slam to end the game in the bottom of the fifth.
