Arizona State University said Thursday that applicants to degree programs at its college of law will be allowed to use generative artificial intelligence in application preparation.

Artificial intelligence used to help students write college essays is not cheating, and those who don't utilize the tech will be at a disadvantage, former tutor says.Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law announced on Thursday that applicants to its degree programs are permitted to use generative artificial intelligence in the preparation of their application. The changes are allowed beginning in August.
