Police in Arlington responded to a call of an individual with a gun near the Arlington High campus Thursday afternoon.
Arlington police were responding Wednesday afternoon to a shooting that occurred outside James Bowie High School. Department officials said on X, formerly Twitter, that officers were still on scene as of 3:10 p.m. outside the school in the 2100 block of Highbank Drive, near Sherry Street.“Please do not come to the school,” officials wrote in the post, later adding all students inside were safe, but would not be dismissed on time.
