Eddaria Lawrence faces charges of accident involving death and manslaughter, according to Dallas police. Lawrence was booked into Dallas County Jail; it was unclear whether she had an attorney. The collision occurred at about 12:07 a.m. Nov. 12, when a man was on his phone walking on the sidewalk in the 9900 block of Forest Lane, near Audelia Road.
The man, who was identified as 33-year-old Bo Stephens, stepped off the sidewalk and into the road when a sedan traveling at a “very high rate of speed” struck him, throwing him into a brick wall, police said.Related Stories
