SoundCloud has unveiled a mobile upload feature that allows creators to post their tracks on the go.
Announced Tuesday , the feature -- now available via SoundCloud’s mobile iOS app, with an Android version soon to follow -- allows creators to add metadata such as artwork, new titles, genre and descriptions; share the track via Instagram Stories; pitch it to
press; and/or send it in a private link to friends via text. The feature is just the latest addition to SoundCloud’s mobile toolkit, which also allows creators to edit previously uploaded tracks, spotlight particular songs, build and manage their profiles and more.
