Altuve played in five minor league games in six days, going 1-for-13 in three games with Sugar Land and 1-for-9 in two nights with AA Corpus Christi. After his final game in Corpus Christi on Wednesday, he proclaimed that his thumbAltuve likely will return to his usual spot atop the lineup, which has been filled admirably by Mauricio Dubón, who is hitting a team-best .309 while starting 35 of the Astros' 43 games at second base.
