has been highly anticipated amongst viewers. The psychological thriller series follows the story of Nikhil Nair, a forensic expert-turned-teacher, who leads an uneventful life with his family. He eventually ends up collaborating with his former mentor Dhananjay Rajpoot to catch a serial killer.
However, he was still optimistic about a third season and confessed to just waiting for a “spark.” He said, “I think what we have decided is that we will do it once Gaurav gets an idea of how and what the take of Asur 3 could be. And if it’s a fantastic idea, he will reach out and we will have a chat and we’ll take a call and then plan ahead. Right now, I think it’s all in limbo. We’re waiting for the spark. Gaurav’s waiting for the spark.
Warsi also expressed that it would be a foolish decision to not make Asur 3. He said, “If you are watching a series and you are enjoying it, you want closure. You want to see what happens in the end. If someone shuts the film 30 minutes before the end, I’d kill them .”
