“When you get married in Hell, there’s nowhere for your marriage to go but up.'
On Saturday, 29 lucky – or perhaps unlucky – couples will be able to tie the knot for free at 2:29 p.m. in Hell, a small town 20 miles outside Ann Arbor, Michigan.
“When you get married in Hell, there’s nowhere for your marriage to go but up,” said the Rev. Yvonne Williams, who will officiating the mass ceremony.The “short and sweet” ceremony will take place outside the town’s chapel. Williams said the couples will stand in a big circle as they repeat vows and exchange rings.Couples will be allowed to bring guests to the festivities, which Williams estimates will last less than 10 minutes.
