The victim was walking through the parking lot when a man riding a skateboard approached her from behind and grabbed the strap of her purse, police said. She managed to pull away from the man and continued walking. The man then left the scene.The victim described the suspect as a man in his 20s or 30s with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with the word “cookies” on the front.
In that case, the victim was sitting in her vehicle with the driver’s door open when a man approached her, grabbed the strap of her purse and ordered her to give it to him. The victim held onto her purse and activated a panic alarm, which scared off the suspect.
