Parking at the fairgrounds costs $5, and can be found off East 17th Avenue. Parking is not available off 11th Avenue. There is free parking on Friday for Home & Garden Show guests until 3 p.m. but you must have a valid coupon to redeem it. You can find the free parking coupon in The Columbus Dispatch and bring it to one of the parking attendants.
In addition, the Columbus Oktoberfest is also taking place at the fairgrounds, and visitors to the home and garden show can take shuttles to the Oktoberfest activities. Admission to Oktoberfest is also free., which celebrate the best gardens in six categories: home landscaping, vegetable, container, community, native plant and perennial; will be announced at the show.
The top prize in each category is a $300 gift card to Oakland Nurseries; second-place winners will each earn $100 gift cards; third-place winners will each earn $50 gift cards; and the best-of-show winner will receive a $500 gift card.
