Auburn transfer Ro Torrance headed to Sun Devil football program
The 6-foot-4, 197-pounder played in 10 games at Auburn last season, mostly on special teams. He managed five tackles, a breakup and forced a fumble.
Torrance, who is from Bessemer, Alabama, is a product of Bessemer City High School which is about two hours from the Auburn campus.The Arizona State football program has landed its first recruit for the 2023 class and it is quarterback Israel Carter out of Corona Centennial . Carter said ASU had been looking at him as far back as the eighth grade. He had been seriously considering ASU and that didn't change even when a new offensive coordinator came on board in Glenn Thomas.
