The P. E. Nation x H&M activewear collection includes apparel, undergarments, swimwear, and accessories, and marks H&M's first collaboration with an Australian brand -- and athleisure brand.
As for the design process, Tregoning explains that they used P.E. Nation’s best sellers, which were fused with H&M’s color palette for the season. “We just added some more extra pieces here, but the collection is similar to our original heritage design, featuring our iconic silhouettes.”
P.E. Nation’s brand ethos is tied to the multi-faceted, versatile woman, and traits such as self-expression, personal style, and individuality. As a result, the fact that the collection dropped three days before International Women’s Day is incredibly fitting. “It's more about simply women banding together for me,” Edwards shares. “That's why we call it a ‘nation’, because it refers to being a team player. It’s totally about inclusivity. It's not about your solo voice. Yes, we have a solo voice, but we're stronger together. The brand is also so much about fearlessness, about being fun, and being you — with no compromise.”
As two fearless women at the helm of a global brand inviting women to"celebrate the P.E Nation woman," it’s inspiring to see the meteoric success that cofounders Edwards and Tregoning have experienced in the short time that P.E. Nation has been on the scene.
