Authorities are investigating a threat made against a Pearland ISD school, Dawson High School, according to an email from the school’s principal.
The school’s administration “learned about a threat made against the school" Tuesday night, Principal Erin Hamann’s email read. It was not immediately clear from the email to Dawson parents what the threat was. “Pearland Police are currently performing a thorough investigation on campus to ensure the safety of all students and staff,” Hamann wrote. “Please monitor your Skyward email, as further communication will be shared by Pearland ISD as soon as clearance becomes available.”
Media representatives from Pearland ISD and Pearland police could not be immediately reached late Tuesday night.
