The tailgating experience is alive and well in Mission Valley. It’s just different. And better, at least in one respect. While fans lamented the loss of the 18,000 parking spaces that surrounded the former stadium, there was one downside. “It was all asphalt,” El Cajon’s Mark Murch pointed out. “This is way better.” Murch was perched on the grass located just beyond the southern edge of the Yellow Lot at Snapdragon Stadium. Alongside him was Rancho San Diego’s Drew Jennings.
