It's incredibly easy and incredibly delicious.
I tried the salmon as written and it was very good! But, "Clean up is a breeze—just ball up the foil and toss it away." In this age of sustainable living isn't it time to stop using so much aluminum foil??This is one of my favorite salmon recipes! I use farm-raised for the higher fat content & I cook skin side up. I brush the pain with the oil/thyme mixture then brush the top of salmon with it so both sides have flavor.
My modifications: - sear the skin side for 1-2 min before baking to crisp the skin - cook at 325 for 18 min - I put on a lot more of each of the marinade ingredients. I don't really keep track of the amount, I just add a thin layer of lemon zest and thyme to the entire top of the fish, and coat the top in olive oil . - I use dried thyme as a concession to time . Otherwise the prep time for the recipe becomes twice as long.
