A man was shot by Barberton Police early Monday morning and is being treated for a gunshot wound.BARBERTON, Ohio -- A suspect was hospitalized after being shot by Barberton police Monday morning.

According to a press release, at around 9:05 a.m. an officer-involved shooting on 500 west Hopocan Avenue near a YMCA. The male, whom has not been named publicly, was transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound. There is no word on his condition.
