Attorney General William Barr is reportedly considering quitting his position over President Donald Trump's social media posts.

Attorney General William Barr has reportedly warned associates of President Donald Trump and White House officials that he could resign over social media posts by the president that interfere with the activities of the U.S. Department of Justice.

Barr's spokesperson Kerri Kupec took to Twitter to deny that the attorney general has any intention of quitting. The Justice Department and Barr came under particularly heavy fire last week, after intervening in the case of former Trump adviser Roger Stone, who was found guilty in November 2019 on seven felony counts related to the investigation of meddling by Russia into the 2016 presidential election.
