Barricade situation in Schiller Park ends with no injuries; lockdown lifted

Police in Schiller Park say a barricade situation on Ruby Street has ended with no injuries.

SCHILLER PARK, Ill. --A lockdown had been put in place for the neighborhood after an armed man barricaded himself inside of a home.

Police said the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute after the suspect threatened a family member with a gun."Nobody else is at risk right now we have the area locked down right now and we're just trying to get the subject to come out peacefully," said Lt. Jim Scheib of the Schiller Park Police Department had told new media.Related Topics
