The Cattlemens steakhouse has been part of the community for five decades.
Preliminary plans submitted by developer Dynamic Real Estate Partners show that the current 9,040-square-foot Cattlemens restaurant would be completely torn down to construct a 5,000-square-foot Chick-fil-A. In addition to a drive-thru, the proposed fast food restaurant would have outdoor seating. SFGATE reached out to Chick-fil-A for comment but did not hear back by publication.
by the end of the year, as it was unable to renew its lease. Plans are already in place to open a new Cattlemens at 4619 Redwood Dr. in Rohnert Park by 2023. Cattlemens continues to operate locations in Livermore and Dixon, in addition to Santa Rosa and Petaluma.
