A bear has been sighted in various Montgomery County locations and, according to officials, the bear was most recently seen in Whitpain Township Wednesday.
Whitpain Township police report a confirmed bear sighting by the Pennsylvania Game Commission in Worcester Township and East Norriton Township. From there, the bear made its way to the area of Hoover Road and Perri Place, in Whitpain Township, and was seen there Wednesday night.say it’s typical for bears to move about in the autumn prior to hibernation.
Officials say if the bear is spotted to call 911 and report the sighting to authorities. At no point should anyone attempt to approach a bear.that I have read and agree
