Jenna Ortega will star as Winona Ryder's daughter in Beetlejuice 2, which will also see the return of Michael Keaton as the titular character
The original movie followed the recently deceased couple Adam Maitland and Barbara Maitland , who hire Beetlejuice to haunt their home in an effort to scare off the new tenants: Charles Deetz , Delia Deetz and their daughter Lydia.
Apart from co-star reunions, Beetlejuice 2 will also see Ortega team up with Burton once again since working on the Netflix series Wednesday. Last October, Ortega shared insight into her actor-director relationship with Burton.
