A new trailer for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice previews the upcoming Tim Burton-directed sequel starring Michael Keaton.
“Beetlejuice is back! After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River,” the official synopsis reads. “Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened.
Along with Keaton, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice stars Winona Ryder as Lydia Deetz, Catherine O’Hara as Delia Deetz, Justin Theroux as Rory, Monica Belluci as Betelgeuse’s wife, Jenna Ortega as Astrid Deetz, and Willem Dafoe as Wolf Jackson.The story for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice comes from Alfred Gough, Miles Millar, and Seth Grahame-Smith, with Gough and Millar writing the screenplay.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice releases in United States theaters and IMAX on September 6, 2024, from Warner Bros. Pictures.
