President Joe Biden on Tuesday called Saturday's mass shooting in Buffalo, New York,"domestic terrorism," and blasted backers of the so-called great replacement conspiracy theory."I condemn those who spread the lie for power, for political gain and for profit," the president said on a visit to the city.

A white 18-year-old shot and killed 10 people at a Buffalo supermarket after researching the local demographics, with the purpose of killing as many Black people as possible, officials said Sunday. The suspect is alleged to be the author of a white-supremacist document that repeatedly referenced the “great replacement” theory, which falsely alleges that people of color --- particularly immigrants --- pose a political and cultural threat to white people.
