President Joe Biden refused to answer a question Friday about the special counsel investigating his troubled son.
David Weiss was recently elevated from prosecutor to special counsel for the Department of Justice investigating several crimes potentially committed by Hunter Biden. That led to a question at an afternoon press conference the president shared with the leaders of South Korea and Japan."If you’ll indulge me, Mr.
Biden laughed, then paused, and answered a previous question from Madhani before acknowledging the Hunter query. "With regard to the second question, I have no comment on any investigation that’s going on," he said."That’s up to the Justice Department, and that’s all I have to say." James Comer recently claimed that the president used a fake email name to communicate with Hunter Biden and his associates.
The president has denied involvement with his son's ventures and maintains that he is not involved with the Justice Department's investigations.
