Zapp, Midnight Star, Rose Royce, Tierra, Intruders, Peaches & Herb, Notations, Bloodstone fans won’t want to miss Valentines Day Super Love Jam.

R&B/soul fans might want to think about grabbing tickets for the long-running Valentines Super Love Jam concert at SAP Center.

This year’s edition — set for Feb. 18 at the Shark Tank — features a lineup that includes a number of old-school favorites. The evening’s headliner is Zapp, the Ohio funk/R&B outfit that released its chart-topping debut album back in 1980. The group is known for such hits as “More Bounce to the Ounce,” “Dance Floor” and “Computer Love.”

Yet, we’d be just as excited to see Rose Royce, the Los Angeles soul act that will likely have fans singing along to such favorites as “I Wanna Get Next To You,” “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore,” “Ooh Boy” and, of course, “Car Wash.” Attendees will also get to hear Peaches and Herb revisit their mighty catalog, which includes the two massive late-’70s hits “Reunited” and “Shake Your Groove Thing.”Related Articles
