Oil companies demanding slower transition to clean energy

He touts the company’s investment in fuels made from plants and hydrogen derived from natural gas. Patrick Pouyanné, CEO of Paris-based TotalEnergies, chose to diversify his company into producing electrons. The new business plan moves away from oil to concentrate on natural gas, wind, solar and battery storage.
