As Big Tech employees get culled, their European colleagues get stronger labor laws and softer landings

The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act requires US companies to give a 60-day notice period before dismissing an employee, which pushed Twitter to hold onto a portion of its workforce that it had initially laid off.
