Billionaires Tilman Fertitta and Alice Walton have been revealed as the victims in an alleged identity theft scheme to buy items from the U.S. furniture store Conn’s.

have been revealed as the victims of an alleged identity theft scheme to buy items from the U.S. furniture store Conn’s.on Facebook that one Stephanie Hunter stands accused of felony offenses including “fraudulent use or possession of identifying information and making a false statement to obtain credit.”

The accused Hunter has confessed to using Fertitta’s personal information including his name and social security number in opening a credit card account. Rosen confirms that she created a fake email address, however she made the error of using her personal residential address in Spring, Texas, which allowed investigators to track her down.

Additional charges related to these cases are pending. Constable Alan Rosen, said: “This case should serve as a warning to everyone that they should take steps to protect their good name and credit.”
