Billy is a Movie and TV Features writer for Collider. Starting in 2024, Billy's main focus is brining unique and exciting angles to moments and characters within cinema and TV.
Having studied MA Screenwriting at UAL in 2023, Billy honed his own screenwriting skills and also his ability to critique the work of other creative minds. Before that, Billy studied politics at the University of Nottingham, helping him to bring nuanced and scholarly analysis to the frameworks within which filmmakers and writers have framed their thematic messages in a piece of media.A relative newcomer to the industry, Billy used his time during his Masters to pitch his own projects, solo and group ventures, to producers and directors form studios behind media such as Currently working to bring his own short film, Favorite Media.
Billy's favourite thing to do on a summers day is go to the cinema alone, watch a film, then sit in a pub afterwards dissecting the film. Despite being 23, his favourite ways to consume media might be ones more expected of a retired pensioner.
