Bloomberg, who entered the race a year late and eschewed the early primaries in Iowa and New Hampshire, has faced a barrage of news stories scrutinizing his past, specifically his record on racial issues. On February 11, leaked audio revealed Bloomberg defending New York’s controversial stop-and-frisk policy against minorities.
