Actor Jay Johnston pleade guilty to a felony for his involvement in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Johnston pleaded guilty to civil disorder for obstructing police as they tried to stop rioters at the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C.“Bob’s Burgers.”
The entertainer joined a group of rioters on Jan. 6, 2021 on the Lower West Plaza at the Capitol, advanced toward the Capitol building and made his way through crowd to the front of a building entryway. He then gestured toward the crowd before joining a wall of protesters with a stolen Capitol police riot shield.
