A decayed body discovered in a tent up a mountain is believed to be a teenage climber who went missing a year ago.
The skeletonized remains were found by a pair of climbers as they tackled a peak in the Austrian Alps.
Tyrolean police released the following missing person report on June 2, 2021:"A 19-year-old man from the Netherlands has gone missing since the 30th of May 2021."The male individual intended to go on a hike in the mountains the following day.Dutchman Rida Zoundri, 19, who disappeared without a trace after stopping in the Austrian city of Innsbruck in May 2021.
Police spokesman Stefan Eder refused to confirm the body's identity but revealed that investigators had ruled out that the person could have been a victim of crime.
