The Montour County coroner says Kevin Cagle was the victim of a homicide.
DANVILLE - The body found Friday morning near Interstate 80 in Montour County has been identified as a Williamsport area man who was the victim of a homicide, authorities said.
To protect the integrity of the investigation, he said no further information would be released at this time. He was held for court in absentia on possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia along with two counts of disorderly conduct - one accused him of fighting. A riot charge was dismissed.
Cagle is alleged to have taken a fighting stance and squared off against an officer. He initially was jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail but it later was changed to unsecured and he was released.
