Bojangles will open its first Columbus location in April on the city's Far West Side.
The North Carolina-based fried chicken chain Bojangles will break ground on its first Ohio restaurant on Thursday., is expected to open in April at 831 Hilliard Rome Rd. on the city's Far West Side, offering a much shorter drive for central Ohioans than the current nearest Bojangles in Louisville, Kentucky.
Longtime Bojangles restaurant franchisee and Columbus native Jeff Rigsby expects to open 45 Bojangles over the next several years in the Columbus area, and in Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.Bojangles currently has 780 company-owned and franchised restaurants in 15 states.
