A bomb threat has forced the Latin School of Chicago in the Gold Coast neighborhood to send students home Thursday morning.
Police investigate bomb threat at Timber Ridge Middle School in Plainfield
Chicago police were called in and student- faculty and staff were evacuated from the building. No one was hurt. The school said in a statement, "All buildings are CLOSED the remainder of the day today, Thursday, September 8, 2022, and will reopen tomorrow, Friday, September 9, at 6:30 a.m. for regularly scheduled classes and events."
