Miller follows Derrick McKey in 1988 and Antonio McDyess in 1996 as former Alabama players who have been first-team selections for the NBA’s All-Rookie squad. Latrell Sprewell in 1993, Collin Sexton in 2019 and Herb Jones in 2022 were second-team selections. The All-Rookie second-team selections for the 2023-24 season included Dallas Mavericks center Dereck Lively II, Houston Rockets forward Amen Thompson, Utah Jazz guard Keyonte George, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Cason Wallace and Memphis Grizzlies forward GG Jackson II.
