The “Toxic” hitmaker, who previously said she wanted her father in jail over her 13-year conservatorship, is reportedly looking to extend an olive branch to her pops.
The singer famously accused her dad of abuse before being freed from her conservatorship in November 2021. particularly her dad, at the time of the divorce — but is now looking to change that.
TMZ reports that Jamie, 71, is open to a reconciliation with Britney, and there are no hard feelings on his part, the outlet adds.when Britney said those closest to her “should all be in jail” for their roles in establishing her conservatorship in the first place.“Ma’am, my dad and anyone involved in this conservatorship, and my management, who played huge roles in punishing me when I said ‘No’ [to going on tour] — Ma’am, they should be in jail,” she said at the time.
“I’ve lied and told the whole world I’m OK and I’m happy,” she continued. “I’ve been in denial. I’ve been in shock. I am traumatized…”
