The Broncos running back is returning from a torn ACL and LCL in his right knee that he suffered during an Oct. 2 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders last season.
Williams said on Sunday that he expects to be cleared by the start of training camp and to be a part of some practices following team veterans reporting on July 25. Williams has been practicing with a brace on the knee that underwent surgery and also said that he felt he had cleared the mental hurdles that come with an injury like that. Williams, 23, has been speaking with different Bronco players that have gone through similar injuries, including wide receiver Tim Patrick and linebacker Aaron Patrick.
