Police in Dallas arrested a man Saturday night in connection to a shooting at the State Fair of Texas that left three people wounded.
Authorities charged Cameron Turner, 22, with three counts of aggravated assault, saying he opened fire around 7:45 p.m. Saturday at the food court at the fairgrounds.
Police said Mr. Turner tried to flee the scene but was taken into custody shortly after shots were fired. Two men and a woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the incident. All were taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition, according to police. Videos on social media show crowds scrambling for the exits after officials broadcasted an emergency signal over the fair’s loudspeakers.
