Campbell Hall is eyeing a CIF title in Division 6 after a 20-win season, thanks to the dominant performance of senior Tanner Mahon.

It might be fair to say Campbell Hall’s proverbial book is a good read so far, but it has the ingredients to be a great read – or even a best-seller – as Himes put it.The brightest spot for the Vikings is senior Tanner Mahon, whose stats from the mound and the plate jump off the page. From the bump, he’s 7-0 in nine appearances, fanned 68 batters in 48 innings and has not allowed one earned run all season. From the plate, Mahon is batting .449 with five homers and 39 RBIs.
“It’s been a rough go for these seniors,” Himes said. “COVID came their freshman season, then we thought we were on the other side of it, but then the omicron variant came. Then Tanner had an injury on top of that.”
