The 36-year-old man arrested in connection to a non-fatal quadruple stabbing outside of a Capitol Hill bar was in court Saturday.
Seattle police and firefighters responded to 14th Avenue and East Madison Street in Capitol Hill shortly after 2 a.m. on Oct. 20, 2023, after four people were stabbed outside of a bar. A 36-year-old man was arrested. outside of a Capitol Hill bar was in court Saturday.
The stabbing happened near the corner of 14th Avenue and East Madison Street at around 2 a.m Friday. Court documents said there was reportedly an argument between the suspect and a group of people, and that’s when the suspect allegedly opened his knife and swung at them which lead to four people being stabbed.
“I didn’t see how it started, I don’t even know why it started. I just know it went from 0-100," said Dennis Jimerson.“I said we don’t need to be doing this stuff you know, just let it go, leave it alone, stop, whatever it is it’s not worth it. That's what I’m saying and kind of pushing people out the way, away from each other," Jimerson said.Seattle Police said a man and woman were sent to Harborview Medical Center and have since been released.
