Julie Gebhardt's Instagram photos of everyday SF have attracted thousands of followers.

Photographer Julie Gebhardt wants you to put down your phones and view everything that San Francisco has to offer.. However, she recently explained to SFGATE that her photographs are all about being in the moment and noticing the beauty around us."I'm interested in capturing the beauty of the ordinary, the places and details we tend to glide past as we move through life," Gebhardt said."I want to spotlight how, if we are attentive, we can find interest even in the mundane.

"I began the practice of capturing my daily observation as I moved through the city and, fairly quickly, I found my subject matter."Gebhardt's photographic eye often captures the diverse and colorful architecture of the city by the bay."I love how the varied building styles in San Francisco are in such close proximity to one another," she said."My house photos are an expression of my affection for the architectural diversity I find in the city.
