The car plowed through the brick exterior to First Care Medical on the 50 block of Pompton Avenue at about 7 a.m.,Photos from the scene showed most of the vehicle wedged inside the building. It has since been removed, Capt. Paul Watkins said Wednesday afternoon. The SUV that hit the building was traveling north on Pompton Avenue when the driver swerved to avoid hitting a car turning off Claremont Avenue, Watkins said.
