Carlos Rodon says his sleeve covering up the Yankees’ patch was an accident.
BALTIMORE — A few tweets went viral this week showing Carlos Rodon’s sleeves rolled up, obscuring the “Starr Insurance” patch that has been added to the right sleeve of Yankees jerseys.
The many folks who viewed those tweets knew about the minuscule controversy before Rodon did, according to the Yankees lefty. “I had no idea until you brought that up,” Rodon told a reporter Friday before the Yankees opened a series at Camden Yards.On a hot night in the Bronx, Rodon has several buttons undone and his sleeves slightly rolled up — hiding the Starr Insurance patch.USA TODAY Sports via Reuters Con
